Italian Red Wines
It is said that a glass of red wine daily is good for the heart and prevents varicose veins.
Whatever else it may be good for, we don’t need an excuse to enjoy a glass of good red wine- just a suitable occasion.
The best known and most excellent wines from the 16 wine growing areas of Italy are shown here.
A map of Italy in the middle of the poster shows the position and extent of the 16 regions.
The areas on the map are numbered and the numbers appear above the corresponding bottles, which are arranged in groups for each of the wine growing regions.
Here’s a link to a second poster which deals with Italian Wines.
"VINI ITALY".

A number of different vintages are also to be seen.
These wines can be stored in a cellar without coming to any harm, provided they are kept at the right temperature and humidity in suitable storage racks.
They are made for good occasions and circumstances.
