Poster \"STATION WAGON 1932-1967\"
This is a poster for a rather special group of old-timer fans of every age.
Chronologically it begins with the “Ford Model B” from 1932 and the “Rolls Royce Shooting Brake Phantom II” from 1935.Just in passing: it had a 6 cylinder engine 7668cc, even then, 4 gears, and four wheel servo assisted brakes.
The “Packard Clipper One-Sixty” from 1941 is seen here as well as the “Plymouth Sportsman” from 1940.

The fact that the “Dodge LC 1936 Di Cantrell” has a canvas curtain in place of rear window glass is plain to see, not to forget the spare wheel in position above the right mudguard.
Even a “Lancia Aurelia B51 Giardinetta” from 1951 is present here.

In the “Pontiac Wagon” from 1956, you can see both driver and co-driver.
Two cars are depicted with wooden bodywork and the picture is so clear you can see the grain.
The first one is the “Shooting Brake Alvis TA-14” from 1946. This car was built up to 1950; it had 1892cc and a four cylinder engine. The second one is the “Buick Estate Wagon” from 1941.

These cars were known as “woodies”.
Some of them are still going strong and they have a large fan-club.
One more detail to the Rolls Royce Phantom II: altogether 1680 were produced. 1555 of them had the steering wheel on the right, and the remaining 125 had it on the left.
And here we have them once again for you to see: whitewall tyres.

Size: 68 x 98 cm
Art print on 100g paper, coated with matt varnish.
